Yes, that’s right, Dashboard Confessional is playing the “Civic Tour” (i.e. Honda Civic). Man, and to think I once liked his music. I feel dirty and used.

I sit here typing this while I wait for the iron to warm up in the other room. My clothes are laid out for tomorrow and I’ve promised myself that I’d get enough sleep as not to fall asleep at clinic tomorrow. Somewhere down the hall, a bunch of kids are celebrating a birthday and living up “the college life”. Meanwhile, I press a pair of pants and set my alarm for 6 A.M.
What I’m sacraficing my nights for is definitely worth it in the short term. But in the long run, will I get what I’m looking for? Am I really sure this is where I even want to be? Until I find out I guess I’ll have to keep convincing myself I’m on the right track.
Here’s to hoping.
Fred Durst’s blog.
