Yesterday I had the fine opportunity of talking with my cousin Dave. It turns out this guy is coming to Davis for Memorial Day weekend. I’m not quite sure if this sleepy little college town is ready for this:

It’s going to be good times for sure.
I don’t normally like to make sweeping statements about followers of any particular religion because it’s usually just my experience and who really know if California is representative of the entire planet (I kid, I kid). So when Jake sent me this link, I had to stop. Was this really serious? I mean, this is something The Onion could have come up with. But no, it’s true. Catholic people from all over the greater Chicago area are flocking to see what they believe to be an image of the Virgin Mary.

You know, if you kind of squint and tilt your head to one side after taking three or four shots of Jack then yes, it does look like the Virgin.

In other news, I need to write here more frequently but I’m finding that I don’t have time to do much besides school (ochem, physics and two sociology classes), MAAR, and clinic. I cannot wait for summer.
