Okay, so “Old Spanish Days” is a bit of a misnomer because I wasn’t really around for the daytime events like watching parades and eating Mexican food. I did, however, make it out during the evening hours with a bunch of friends from Santa Barbara. I would go on and on about all the crazy stories but it’s getting late and I really need to think about how I’ll write it so it won’t be incredibly boring and non-consecutive.

As I write this, Jake is sitting next to me and tells me to insert the following: “Say that it should still be called Old Spanish Days because everyone there was Mexican” (Editorial comment: Jake says a lot of stupid shit and this is one of those times)
