… and it begins

Tuesday, March 27th, 2007

Today marked the first day for summer MCAT sign-ups for the western region so I hopped on to the AAMC website, submitted every piece of information they asked for (who actually needs social security numbers anymore?) and plunked down $210.

The result is as follows:

spring break plans

Monday, March 26th, 2007

It’s game time:

British Airways sent me a friendly reminder this morning to finish filling in a few details about my trip and I realized it’s only eleven days until I depart. Next Friday I’ll be sitting on a 747 bound for Prague, adventures with Dave, lots of pictures and who knows what else. I can’t wait.

Thursday list

Thursday, March 8th, 2007

I’m in the mood for a list.

Things that are making my Thursday amazing:

  1. waking up to a John Mayer interview on NPR (yeah, yeah, I know only old people listen to NPR. I don’t want to hear it.) Highlight of the segment: “I would … love never to — in a documentary of me — see a picture of myself spun around with a Ken Burns effect and then hear, like, ‘And then things get out of control….’”
  2. finalized dates for my trip to Prague (and Budapest, and Plzen, and ???)
  3. the fact that my uncle will be in Prague for some of the time I’ll be there — there’s nothing quite like having a drink with Uncle Steve.
  4. making a list of things I need to handle in the next month in my little black book.
